Langasite (LGS) / gallium lanthanum tantalate (LGT)
LGS/LGT Wafer

LGS is similar to LGT crystal. LGS crystal is pale yellow, and the structure is same with quartz. Melting point is 1610 ℃ and has no phase transition. The electromechanical coupling coefficient is larger than quartz.
LGS: D33 = 6.2, D14 = 3.65.
LGT: D33 = 6.5, D14 = 4.7.
They have broad application prospects in chemical, engine, oil exploration, aerospace, wireless communications, and biological detection. They are mainly used to manufacture high-temperature sensors, oscillators, filters, QCM, etc.
