Outside Clip Pressure Sensor (Clip-hold type)
Outside clip pressure sensor is designed for measuring the quality of engine fuel injection pressure.
It adopts a new type of piezoelectric detection technology to achieve this important breakthrough of
manometry from outside. Miniaturization, low power consumption, directly clip on the tube, with
these improvements we resolved the traditional string-type sensors’ difficulties, which is in use and
operation, field testing, and real-time monitoring. It is time and effort saving, and can do dynamic
detection of mechanical and oil supply information. No need to disrupt the existed pressure path,
truly achieved pressure parameters’ non-destructive testing. This is a necessary important means for
the machinery’s development, health applications, status monitoring, fault quantitative diagnosis,
5and maintenance and quality control.
Application
It is used in the engine’s development, management applications, performance testing, maintenance and repair of
aircraft, tanks, ships, cars, trains, construction machinery, and agricultural machinery. It measures pipe pressure,
rotary speed, liquid injection amount, to achieve the purpose of condition monitoring, fault quantitative diagnosis,
and maintenance of quality control
Cautions
1. Pay attention to moisture when use sensor, especially don’t damp the sensor’s sensitive material, otherwise
it will affect the output signal of the sensor;
2. When install the sensor, gently tighten the bolts so that the measured sensor pipe is clamped, and the force
can not be too large.Figure 3-5 is the outside measured fuel injection pressure collected. From thewaveform wecan see that diesel fuel injection pressure signal has periodic, bettersignal to noise ratiocharacteristic.Waveform of oscilloscope is single-cylindermulti-cycle waveform, single cylinder full cyclewaveform, single-cylinder injectiontiming waveforms successively. It can be seen that the actual collected outsidemeasured injection pressure waveform has a theoretical time-domain characteristics.
