CWST-THX01 Standard Dynamic Torque Sensor


Introduction:
      CWST-THX series torque sensor is a signal coupler specially developed to transmit torqueparameters. It adopts proven strain gauge measurement technology, consists an strain bridge on theelastic shaft, and provides the strain bridge with power to obtain the flexible shaft twisted electricalsignals. Amplify the strain signal, go through voltage / frequency conversion, and make it into afrequency signal proportional to the torsional strain. The wireless non-contact transmission send thetorque signal to converter circuit, Thus ensured the life of the sensor.

Installation
     
1. According to the connection form of the shaft and the length of torque sensor, determine the distance between the prime mover and the load, then adjust the prime mover and the load axis with respect to distance from the reference plane. Their axes’ coaxial is less than Φ 0.03mm, and concentricity shall not exceed 0.1mm. Fix the prime mover and the load on the plane.
2. Put the couplings into their respective axes.
3. Adjust the distance between the torque sensor and the reference plane, make sure the prime mover and load’s coaxial is less than Φ 0.03mm, then fix the torque sensor to the plane.
4. Tighten couplings to complete installation.

Installation Precautions and Maintenance

1. When in installation, don’t live action, direct beat and crash sensors.
2. Coupling fastening bolts should be tightened, outside coupling shield should be added, avoid personal injury.
3. Power and load equipment must be fixed to avoid vibration
4. The base of the sensor and device should be fixed (can swing) as flexible as possible, to avoid bending moments.
5. Operation environment: torque sensor should be installed in an ambient temperature of 0 ℃ ~ 60 ℃, relative humidity less than 90%
6. Non-flammable, explosive materials environment.
7. Should not be installed in the environment of strong electromagnetic interference.
8. Should grease both ends of the torque sensor bearing every other year. When greasing, only open the ends of the bearing cover, add grease to the bearing, and then cover both ends.
9. Should be stored in a dry, non-corrosive, room temperature -20 ℃ --70 ℃ environment.
